Dr. Paul Langer is a podiatrist in practice with Minnesota Orthopaedic Specialists in Minneapolis, MN. He sees patients in Minneapolis, Edina, and Burnsville. He is a clinical faculty member at the University of Minnesota Medical School and has lectured and been published nationally on lower extremity health and footwear. He is a clinical advisor of the American Running Association, a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and an editorial board member of Running & FitNews. Dr. Langer is an avid runner and triathlete and has completed more than 25 marathons and an Ironman triathlon.
While his initial interest in medicine was sparked by his passion for running and endurance sports, he became inspired by the active lives that many of his patients over age 40 were living. Because he received so many questions about foot care and footwear he set out to find a good resource to guide his patients on self care only to find that there wasn’t a resource specifically written for caring for the feet as we age. So Dr. Langer spent 2 years researching and writing Great Feet For Life.
